Positions Available

The New Recruit AVL Technician works on-site at Summit Integrated project sites following industry standards and project plans. They take direction from the Project Foreman and Lead Technicians to execute installation tasks across various AVL system installation projects. The New Recruit AVL Technician has limited AVL knowledge and is building proficiency in basic installation areas (wire pull, terminations, basic rigging, basic field install) while working under close supervision. All essential functions must be performed without endangering the health and or safety of the individual or others.

The Foreman oversees all aspects of installation at Summit Integrated project sites, ensuring the completion of AVL system installation projects on time and within budget, in accordance with industry standards and project plans. The Foreman is responsible for final sign-off on the quality of work completed by their crew, ensuring it meets Summit’s established standards. This position leads a team of technicians on-site and communicates technical information to clients, Summit staff, and AVL technicians. The Foreman consults with installation leadership regarding technician performance and identifies skill gaps or areas for improvement. All essential functions must be performed without endangering the health and or safety of the individual or others.

The System Design Engineer ensures Summit meets customer expectations by taking the requirements for AVL systems formulated by the Project Management team, to create error-free in-depth system designs that enables smooth construction by other trades and effective installation of AVL systems by the Summit teams. This position also reviews parts lists for accuracy, and based on the system requirements, programs equipment prior to leaving the rack room or on-site.

Our AVL Foreman oversees all AVL system installations, making sure everything meets industry standards and project plans. They lead a team of technicians, ensuring top-quality work that meets or exceeds Summit Standards, and they keep everyone in the loop to ensure successful project outcomes.

The Summit AVL Installation Technician is an MVP and responsible for executing various AVL installation tasks, low-voltage technical practices, and large scale rigging/hanging of equipment across a wide range of projects.
